I'm not sure if Shelley was using Kurzweill or not, or what version, but she did contact the engineers somewhere and they identified and fixed the what caused the problem in the one book but could not figure out why it was in the other book. There were quite a few blank pages between the pages of txt, and they seemed to also be italicized. I say this because each time that I finished deleting the blank pages, my curser was slanted as for italics and I had to changed it. What I had to do was go down to the next text page and delete the blank pages between it and the preceding text pages (at first, before I realized I could do this, I was copying each text page and transferring it to a different Word document). That brought the two ext pages together and I could put in the page break where it belonged. What a time for Shelley to be away (smile). She could explain what the tech people told her and what they did to fix the problem.
