[bksvol-discuss] Question about back numbering

BlankHey guys; 
I have to back number this book and my question is this-- 
Am I suppose to continue with the back numbering all the way to the title page, 
which is the first page in the document?  or do I stop back numbering at the 
page after the title page, the second page in the document? 
**Need help here since I never had to back number a book before and for all of 
my searching, I am confusing myself :-(
