Thanks! I didn't see it on this one, but I'll look again. It has been a while
since I proofed, and the site looks different.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Question About Book Needing to be Proofread
Hi Alyssa,
Do you know about the “View book history” link? When you click on a title in
the checkout list, it opens to the synopsis and “book details.” At the left
side, there is a link to “View book history.” That’s where you will find out if
a previous proofer’s work has been rejected, and for what reasons.
Not all books with a listed proofer have been rejected. Sometimes people lose
interest, or run out of time, or release the book for another reason. But there
will be no notes that come with the book, apart from those in the “book
history.”
Hope that helps.

Hi all.
I have never seen this before so wanted to ask in case someone here knows.
I was looking at the books needing to be proofed today and noticed
that one was proofed. I am guessing the proof was rejected based on
the book quality and figured whoever initially did it is no longer
interested in fixing whatever issues are in the book.
My question: If I check it out, will notes come along with it saying
what exactly was wrong with the book to have the proof rejected?
Thanks.
