I agree with Allison, you can also read with either Braille or speech if you
have the PACMate with the Braille display. it's not to heavy, and you can do
so many things, and it's only one piece of equipment to carry around. As
Allison says, it does have it's drawbacks, but most of those are Pocket pc
issues, not the fault of the PACMate.

I personally love the Pacmate. It has its drawbacks. Not all websites will
display properly in pocket Internet Explorer, but you can use FSEdit to read
pocket word files, as well as any other kind of standard text or Braille
file. They make a bookshare unpack tool for the PM as well. I like it
because of it's portability, and the ability to enter data in Braille, which
you could do with any notetaker theoretically.  Just my thoughts.
