[bksvol-discuss] Re: Need 4 pages in a Gunsmoke book

Sorry. I went back and looked again. James Arness
wrote the Foreword. The author is, as you said, Joseph
West. There's a big picture of Arness on the cover.
The cover says that it is based on the CBS TV series,
and on the copyright page it says that CBS Inc. owns
the copyright (the copyright page is visible on
Amazon's Look Inside the book, if you need that infor
for verification).

I'm really surprised that there is no ISBN number, but
you're right. There is not onw on the copyright page.
I thought every book had to have one these days, but
obviously I'm wrong.

Eventually the book might turn up in our used-book
store or in the library (I forgot to look today--was
too busy pricing donated books--smile). If you hang on
to your copy and I do eventually get the book I'll let
you know and provide missing pages--but maybe someone
else will get them to you first.

Will you be at CSUN?

Cindy
