I worked on the 2013 Presbyterian hymnal titled Glory to God for Bookshare
and it too has words only. I got permission from the publishers of that
hymnal through Bookshare to add number signs before each hymn number and
therefore someone with a paperless device can use that symbol to find a hymn
quickly. In grade 2 that would be dots 4-5-6 th sign.
This is a symbol I had used for myself with paperless devices.
Two njmber signs indicate sections of the hymnal.
Some people like to do hymn sings and with a paperless device and this
symbol, you can find any hymn quickly.

I'd value it, Valerie. I downloaded from Bookshare some time back the
Chalice Hymnal I don't know if it has music, but I don't think so.
There is a precedent.
