Thanks Judy for that bit of information but the first lines of the pages are
text and I just inserted a blank line just before the test begins so that the
page now looks like this:
blank line
text of page
blank line
page number
blank line
page break
Hopefully this will do but if not I am not that far gone in the book that I
can't go back and change it. *smile*
