I love.

A Christmas Carol

How the Grinch Stole Christmas, smile, is the "kid in me"

And

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.

And

Skipping Christmas by John Grisham, I honestly think this would be a great
movie if someone wanted to do it.

But Skipping Christmas right now, smile, with a shopping trip on Tuesday
well... smile.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Holiday books

Hey, guys! Okay, I'm sending this to both of the lists, because I think
this could be a fun discussion for all of us, members and volunteers alike.

In keeping with the season, I recently validated a Christmas book and
submitted another. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of two more that I
hope to submit before my upcoming singing engagement in Cincinnati next
week.

All of this got me to thinking about favorite holiday reads, both in recent
and distant past holiday seasons. I wondered if any of you had any favorite
holiday books. I think my favorite of all time is "The Homecoming," by Earl
Hamner, the writer of "The Waltons." I can't remember the author of 'The
Christmas Train," which I read last year, but it was a delightful read, very
warm and fuzzy. <Smile>

Maybe my trip to a Victorian christmas festival here in Nashville today has
really gotten me into the spirit of things, but I think this could be fun.
And who knows, somebody just might have a great holiday story to submit to
Bookshare that they've just forgotten about. So, come on, guys, take a
break, and weigh in with your favorites, since we can't have a Bookshare
holiday party! <Smile> Blessings!
