  Thanks, Robert, that's a relief.

You can go ahead and install it.

All, I have some books to validate and I want to use some of the tools in
K1000 to do it. But I won't be able to get a scanner for a couple more weeks
yet. I want to know if I will encounter any problems if I install K1000 without
already having a scanner installed. I would imagine that it's probably
programmed to expect to find one; and there was one the first two times I
installed it. Is it likely to work okay if a scanner is not installed, or will
it be unstable or just not install at all?

Thanks for any advice on this.

      Evan
