Hi, Cindy. You're right that step 1 might get a little busy for awhile. If it's busy with excelllent scans, that could be a good kind of problem to work out. We are working on recruiting additional validaters, and Bookshare is also in the process of hiring an in-house scanning/validating specialist.
On a positive note, excellent scans are easier to validate and should take less time in the end. Also, as I mentioned in my post, I do plan to do something really special for our validaters and hope that will encourage people who have never validated books to give it a try. Validaters are way too important to ignore. This just a step toward getting the ball rolling.
