Hi, Cindy. Indeed, having all of Grace Livingston Hill's books would be
wonderful! I haven't been able to get back to my Janette Oke project
although I hope I can soon. Right now, my scanner is in North Carolina and
I'm in Virginia, although I do have a book scanned that I haven't finished
reading yet. I have one more chapter to go, so I should probably get that
done so I can upload it, huh? *smile* Anyway, after I finish the Janette Oke
books I've said I'd do, whatever Grace Livingston Hill books aren't on the
collection at that time, I'll see what I can get to put there. I really like
her books. Take care.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Awaiting books update

Amber,

I'm still number two on the wait list for Nectar in a
Sieve. At my other library systems the book is either
missing or checked out (not the right edition anyway).

I can't remember who is working on The Long Way Down
-- apparently I didn't make a note of that, though I
should have -- Scott? I keep thinking Nick, but that's
the author's name. Anyway, I'm #35 of 55 holds in one
system and 175 for 42 available in the other system.
For some unknown reason, the third systemn doesn't
have the book. Maybe it hadn't come in yet.

Has anyone else gotten either of those books and
helped you out? If so, please let me know and I'll
cancel the holds. If not, we can all wait patiently
(smile).

I'm also awaiting the arrival of Grace Livingston
Hill's Astra, which I have downloaded to fix. Cloudy
Jewel is in the Administrator approval pile. When I
was looking to see if either of my other two libraries
had Astra (they don't) I see that there are many more
books by Hill than are in the bookshare collection
(there are 10 in our collection--Cloudy Jewel and
Astra will make 12). Many of her books have been
republished, some in Large Print editions. I pass that
info on for those of you who enjoy Christian romances.
It probably would be nice to have a complete
collection, especially if we can get the older
editions that haven't been re-published yet.

Cindy
