Thanks Mayrie, for being willing to scan these books! That's very kind of you. I also thought they sounded interesting and was therefore disappointed when I had to reject them. BTW, because some people mentioned that they thought this submitter was a she, I wanted to let you all know that the submitter of these two books is a male. I only mention this so that The female individual that was mentioned doesn't have these scans incorrectly attributed to her. I think that perhaps having two books rejected in one day may make the submitter think a little about his scans. But maybe not. Either way, we're lucky to have people like Mayrie who are willing to scan the rejected titles. Best, Allison----- Original Message ----- From: "Mayrie ReNae" <mrenae@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Allison, I saw both books that you had to reject on the step 1 page a while back. Both looked interesting to me. It is too bad that the scans weren't very good. I have now requested both books from my local library, and whenever they come available to me, I'll scan and submit them. Thanks for letting us know about these. I have seen a lot of interesting-looking books submitted by that submitter. I hope they aren't all rejection-worthy. Peace, Mayrie At 07:56 PM 1/13/2008, you wrote:Hi, Friday I rejected two mysteries. Cruising for Murder and Killer Commute. They were both by the same submitter. I thought the scans were poor quality and, while I worked on them for a while, correcting errors in such, there were just too many parts where I couldn't figure out what was written. I tried guessing through context, but there were a lot of places I just couldn't make educated guesses. It's always a little sad to reject a book though, and two in one day was especially hard. Sorry to relay the sad news, hopefully my next message will be a happier one.
