Does anyone know what went wrong with the static (liquid engine) test of which a photo is shown in the beginning John Clark's 'Ignition' book? I mean the US Navy picture next to the mach diamonds one. What a mess. Must have been a horrendous explosion. Hard start? Which propellants caused the detonation? Thank you. jd
