I don't know what those codes are. They're flags of some kind that IIRC were
introduced in the 80s into the contemporary pepcoded DB of the time, but I
don't think they were ever used by any variant of the code including the
program (ProPEP) of that vintage. Even the "+" flags are ignored. In fact, even
the index numbers (also introduced in the 80s) are also ignored by the code -
everything left of the chemical name is not used. The only reason (if I
vaguely recall) I left that column in there was because I was considering
whether to utilise the "+" flags for ingredient name concatenation, but never
bothered as it turns out.

Just out of curiosity what do the codes in the "Code" column on your
"PepCoded" tab mean? I've figured out the "+" but the rest aren't obvious to
