Just wondering if RAROSS is related to the company, about 15 years ago, that claimed to obtain I-motor (320-640 N-s) performance from a 29 mm motor containing two Bates grains.  A quick calculation showed that Isp of such a motor would be on the order of 700 s...

Tongue-in-cheek speculation that the metal content of the propellant must have been U-235 or one of the plutonium isotopes...  Anyone remember the company name?

Yes, I rather liked that one.

In another neat trick they treat propellant as ballast, so just throwing it away makes you go faster - and using it as rocket fuel makes you go fasterer twice over!!

It's only a wonder the ISp isn't even higher!

Shame they failed their science high school classes ...

Also, their "pending patent" for burning lift gas as fuel doesn't exactly seem to be anything new ...
