Apologies for might be dumb questions, but as I (mis)understand it, you
purchased a product from someone; it turned out the product is unsuitable
for your application so you're selling the product to recoup something from
the exercise and you're concerned the manufacturer of the product has an
issue with you selling/advertising it because they're doing an IPO?
I'm obviously missing lots here coz I that doesn't make sense to me - like
why should they care about you selling it and why should you care about
their IPO?
