I have a similar issue. I have a user who is unable to delete a particular message. He can forward it and read it but not delete. When going to delete the message he receives the error "The item could not be deleted. It was either moved or already deletes, or access was denied.". I done all the usual troubleshooting. Shift-del, exmerge.....

Anyone have any ideas.

About 2 months ago I had to recover our store. After recovering the store I have 8 or 10 people that have undeletable emails. I get errors like

"The item could not be deleted. It was either moved or already deletes, or access was denied."

The recovered database was 8 hours older that the time that the server went down. I am working with Exchange Server 2000.

Any ideas... :)
