I have been given the task of investigating what other Law Firms are doing regarding their e-mail retention policy. We currently have implemented a 30 day e-mail policy. After 30 days the e-mail is deleted and then it sits in trash for 7 more days. If you do not want the e-mail deleted then it must be archived. What I am looking for is the following: If no restrictions are implemented, then how do you manage the message store size, backup, and corruption? If restricted by size, then what size, and how strictly is it enforced? If restricted by date, then what length of time, and how strictly is it enforced? Thanks in Advance Cindi R.
