I can quote you no negative experience, but I'm using BackupExec since when it was Seagate who sold it - I have made the best experiences with it. I alsway disliked Arcserve because of the disparate interface design. Also, it's not that costly, you get it for around 500$ per component (server and agents). Also there's an SBS version which includes server and exch+sql agents for the same price.
