The Bhartiya Conservation Alliance (BHCA)

The Bhartiya Conservation Alliance (BHCA) is a non-profit organization that has been founded with the objective of promoting community-based and locally-led conservation initiatives aimed at safeguarding the environment. This is achieved via the establishment and provision of assistance for Tribal Conservation Districts. The BHCA asserts that conservation actively promotes tribal unity and enhances the ability of tribal countries to safeguard and preserve their culture, sovereignty, and territories.

ESTIV

ESTIV is a discussion list for members of the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV). ESTIV is a sceintific society that aims to promote in vitro toxicology, both scientifically and educationally, in all countries of Europe, by: * Promoting regular exchange of information on in vitro toxicology (meetings, symposia, workshops, bulletins); * Encouraging and extending research in in vitro toxicology in Europe; * Encouraging education and training in in vitro toxicology at all levels in Europe; * Co-operation with other organizations and societies concerned with in vitro approaches to toxicology; * Facilitating communication between professionals in government, business and academia to promote effective application of in vitro methods of hazard identification and risk assessment, as they become available; * Developing other activities that are pertinent to in vitro toxicology.

LCBNO is about natural history in Lincoln Co., Oregon. Natural history includes wild birds, other wild animals (e.g., insects), plants, geology, skywatching, weather watching, etc. Suggested topics for the email list include observations, questions, or discussion of Lincoln Co.
