Family Group Conference (or "Familienrat" in German) is a participative approach within social wellfare to support young people and their networks in finding reliable sollutions for various problems at hand. Within this list (mostly) social workers based in the north-eastern part of Germany shall share information and discuss their experience. The group is generally open for everyone though and mesages will be written in German by standard. The monumental poortgebouw building on the Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam gives people a residence and freedom to have a personal working and living space as well as sharing communal spaces and commodities. For over 35 years the association (vereniging) Poortgebouw has been able to provide a platform to non-commercial art, music, and debates. The intention of this list is to give a space for wider discussions between people and groups involved in Poortgebouw and alternative living/(space) production in Rotterdam.
