Hey Jeffrey, Did you mean 400mb/min? Is that the throughput that ARCserve shows you? Which SCSI controller are you using? Is this unit internal or external? LTO's are beasts, dude... Really fast. I have customers that can do backups of something like... 3 SAP r/3 servers in 3 hours. I am using Arcserve 2k with the Exchange Agent and getting about 400mb/s to some older 35/70gb DLT drives. Is that good, average, or could be better? Looking at replacing the 35/70's with LTO-2 not just for more speed, but for less tapes req.
