Hi guys, Just ran into something funny. We have a user who has access to two different mailboxes, he also has both of them open at the same time in outlook 2000. Now one of the mailboxes shows 3 unread mails in the mailbox, but when you go to the mailbox the mail does not show up. What I did was I make a copy of his inbox to a PST file and then boom the unread mail shows up. Same happens with his contacts folder in the problem mailbox. I copy a contact from the other mailbox to the problem mailbox contact folder and I can't see the contact, I try copying it again and it says the contact is there then I did the same to contacts as I did to the inbox and I see the contact. Total mails in the inbox is 5 messages and the contact only has 1 contact in it. I've checked all the filter and they are all good. Any ideas? I spent about 3hours on the phone with M$. In the end, all it took was rebooting the global catalog server (and the exchange server for grins) and everything began working like a charm. Forest Prep and Domain Prep went fine. Installed Exchange Manager on both DC. (Of course, complained E2K is not supported on W2K3.) Installed Exchange 2K on W2K server SP4. Exchange is at SP3 with post SP3 rollup. On the primary DC, created new users and groups and associated mail boxes and Exchange aliases. Problem: When I went to view the mail boxes on the Exchange server in System Manager, they were not there. On the DCs, all the users show Exchange features and mail boxes. But they do not show up in System Manager on the Exchange server. Do all the Exchange features have to be added/configured from the Exchange server?
