Silly question, but...Did you try changing out the keyboard to rule out hardware failure? -----Original Message----- From: Technical [mailto:tech@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, July 28, 2003 11:36 AM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: OT: Windows XP computer and Ctrl Key sticks. - Problem Expanded http://www.MSExchange.org/ Hi The computer thinks that the ctrl key is pressed down. Trying to type in Word is not possible. Pressing v simply pastes the clipboard as if Ctrl was pressed. If I start STICKY keys and the press a key say "a" it will type "a" to the screen and then turn off STICKY Keys so once again Ctrl is pressed. I am guessing this is caused by an unwanted program/service running on the computer. Has any one got any ideas?
