Hi, We use a program called profilemaker to setup users Outlook profiles, it is run from within a logon script and sets up the Exchange Server, Outlook Address Book and can also setup Personal Folders. It sounds like this could be what you need. _____________________________________________________ Steven Barnard Infrastructure Administrator email: sbarnard@xxxxxxxxxx web: www.bcs.org.au Baptist Community Services Marsfield, Sydney NSW Phone: (02) 9941 6053 Fax: (02) 9888 1559 _____________________________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: Deshwal Chand [mailto:CDD@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, 2 July 2003 11:15 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Auto-profile in Outlook 2000 at exchange 5 .5 http://www.MSExchange.org/ Mike, this is like that: I have a WindowsNT Domain. The user logs into the DOMAIN with her domain userID and password for the first time on this machine. Opens up OUTLOOK Outlook asks her to create her profile. What I want: When she opens Outlook, outlook should automatically create her profile and open up her mailbox. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Dufoe [mailto:dufoem@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, July 02, 2003 7:44 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Auto-profile in Outlook 2000 at exchange 5 .5 http://www.MSExchange.org/ Ok, lets start over here. The user logs into a Workgroup. Then the user opens Outlook and it prompts for a username/password? Is this correct? ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=exchangelist Exchange Newsletters: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/newsletter.asp Exchange FAQ: http://www.msexchange.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 ISA Server Resource Site: http://www.isaserver.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this MSExchange.org Discussion List as: sbarnard@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
